5th - 7th September 2014 saw the third annual running of The Trip Out. A festival which encompasses everything from classic motorbikes, rat rods and custom cars to skateboarding and even a bicycle wall of death! Chilimoto Speed Shop headed down for a well earned, long weekend...
It's always had a laid back chilled vibe to the whole weekend and this year was no exception even though numbers had significantly increased since last year. Once again a wide variety of machinery was on display so whether your passion is for four wheels or two, there's sure to be some pictures below to stir your juices.
The Trip Out is all about relaxed days but definitely comes alive at night with a range of bands, 70's dancers, cult B-movies and the annual Mr Beardo competition. Of course this is all fuelled by ample amounts of local cider at a mere 7.6%… Lethal stuff!
One highlight of the Trip Out every year is the chance for everyone attending to win a custom Harley Davidson motorbike built just for the show. This year's bike looked amazing in metallic purple with lots of chrome work. Unfortunately, yet again it wasn't coming home to the shop, maybe next year eh…?
